Welcome to nishamadhulika.com Today we will make pineapple jam. This jam is very delicious and kids love to have it with bread. Let’s see what ingredients are required to make pineapple jam. Pineapple – 5oo grams (pulp) Sugar – 5oo grams (2.5 cup) Jaifal powder (nutmeg) – ¼ tsp Lemon- 1 To make pineapple jam, firstly grind the pineapple Cut the pineapple in big slices and grind them in mixture grinder or cut them finely and make jam from it. Cutting pineapple in big pieces is much easier. Cut the pineapple in big pieces. Now finely grind the pieces in a mixture jar. Take the finely grind pineapple directly in
to a pan and add sugar. Put the gas on. In starting put the flame to minimum so that sugar gets melted properly or we can add sugar in the pineapple pulp and keep it for 1 hour. When sugar melts then we can cook the jam. Cook it on medium flame as well as keep stirring it after every 2-3 minutes. The moment sugar melts, put the flame to maximum and cook it till it gets thick consistency. Keep stirring after every 2 minutes with a ladle to the core of pan so that the jam doesn’t stick to the pan. When the jam gets thick consistency add jaifal (nutmeg) powder. Make it thicker. Check the consistency of jam. Take a pinch of jam in a bowl and let it cool down.
Then see whether it gets sets or not. Jam is ready. Put the gas off. Keep stirring the jam, so that it gets cooled. Jam has cooled down, now we will add lemon juice in it. If you wish not to use lemon juice then add 2 tbsp of vinegar. Take out the jam in a bowl. Pineapple jam is ready. Try this recipe at your home and share your experience with us.
