Friends today I am going to show you how to
make restaurant style matar paneer recipe at home, first of all in one pan I am going
to heat around 2 tbsp of oil, first of all we are going to make a base gravy for our
north Indian style matar paneer curry which is a very essential in any north Indian style
paneer dish. Here I have some spices and garlic and ginger
paste, sugar, salt, turmeric powder, red chili powder, when our oil is hot in this first
of all I am going to put around 400 gms of red onions, we are going to cook it until
it just gets soft after adding spices and tomatoes in it because we are going to blend
it in a mixture blender so let it simmer for just 1 minute than we are going to add our
remaining ingredients in it. Now our onion get cooked, now in this I am
going to add 1 tsp of garlic and ginger paste and our tomatoes here we have 4 medium size
chopped tomatoes, now in this I am going to put ½ tsp of red chili powder, ¼ tsp of
turmeric powder, salt to taste and around ½ tsp of sugar, now give it a nice mix.
This is really very easy and simple recipe but I am sure it will definitely going to
give you same taste as you get in the restaurants, now let it simmer at a lower heat for few
minutes than we are going to turn the heat off and we are going to cool it down and then
we made our gravy, so friends this is ready so now I am going to turn the heat off and
let it cool down for few minutes than we are going to make gravy from it.
So here I am going to show you 1 secret of making restaurant style matar paneer curry
at home, in another pan I am going to heat around 1 tbsp of Oil, spread it nicely so
basically we are making a very simple onion and tomato curry and we are going to use this
curry into our final butter paneer curry and because of this secret you will going to get
a restaurant like taste in our matar paneer curry.
So now in this oil first of all I am going to add garlic and green chillies, now in this
I am going to put 1 finely chopped onion, give it a nice mix, now here I have 1 finely
chopped tomato but before adding this in this I am going to add around ½ tsp of red chili
powder, pinch of turmeric powder, ½ tsp of kitchen king masala, pinch of salt, again
give it a nice mix, basically we are roasting our spices here so we can get a very good
and rich red colour in our curry. Now in this I am going to put our finely chopped
tomatoes and I am also going to add very little sugar so we can get a balanced taste, sweet,
sour and spicy, so friends this is ready so now I am going to turn the heat off.
So friends now I am going to show you how to make gravy so I am going to add onion and
tomatoes into the juicer jar, I don’t want to miss anything so I am adding water in it
which we are going to add into our gravy, now I am going to put all this liquid into
the mixture blender and I am going to blend it until it become smooth and creamy gravy.
So friends our gravy is ready now lets make our final delicious and simple matar paneer
curry, so friends in another pan I am going to heat around 2 tbsp of oil, so friends our
oil is ready so now in this I am going to add this our basic onion and tomato curry,
give it a nice mix so we can get a really good colour, now in this I am going to add
around ½ tsp of red chili powder and very little turmeric powder, pinch of sugar and
pinch of salt, give it a nice mix so we can get very good red colour.
Now in this I am going to put very little kitchen king masala, now in this I am going
to put our green peas or matar, mix this all things nicely, now in this I am going to put
little water so we can cook our curry nicely, let it simmer for 20-30 seconds than we are
going to add our gravy in it so now in this I am going to put our gravy, now mix all the
things nicely, let it simmer for 5-7 minutes at a medium low heat than we are going to
do remaining procedure with it. So friends after coking our gravy and curry
for few minutes now I am going to put paneer cubes in it so it can absorb all the nice
flavors, give it a nice mix and let it again simmer it for few minutes so friends our delicious
matar paneer is ready now in this I am going to add very little finely chopped coriander
leaves and turn the heat off. So our delicious, easy and restaurant style
matar paneer is ready, you can serve this with the butter naan or roti.
